Hello 80% Nutrition Family!
My name is Danielle, and I am the proud owner of 80% Nutrition! Some of you have known me for years, while others don't know much about me at all :) SO, as I launch my online training program, I want to talk a bit about who I am, my background, and why nutrition and fitness mean so much to me!
So let's take it way back. Haha. I come from a very fitness-oriented family. At 5 years old, I was a gymnast, practicing fitness poses with my aunt, who was training for a fitness competition. By 14, I was begging every gym owner in my small town to allow me to come workout. (ooh did lifting weights sound fun! lol) I remember researching and watching others at the gym in order to get a feel for how the machines worked, and from there, learned more and more complex movements.
At 18, I moved to Los Angeles from Northern California, and that's when I decided to turn my hobby into a career. I became a certified nutritionist and NASM certified trainer, as well as a sponsored athlete. I worked with the largest supplement company in the world, Optimum Nutrition, which allowed me to travel most of the US and many other countries as well to discuss nutrition, exercise, health, and more! I was also featured in Muscle and Fitness Hers Magazine, Shape Magazine, Optimum Nutrition Global Marketing Campaign, Lipoxyderm Campaign and Commercial, and Xenadrine Global TV Commercial.
Fast forward to 2015. I tried ordering from a meal prep company that had just launched. It was the early days for that business model, but I loved the concept itself. What I felt it was lacking was flavor, and arrived frozen. It did the job, but just didn't feel like something sustainable, even for someone who was very disciplined when it came to food.
On a whim, I decided to post on social media about my idea to start a meal prep company. That post alone got the ball rolling (very slowly, but rolling haha) and eventually became a business I can happily say has found success over the past 7 years.
I had to hang up my personal training hat to focus on building 80% Nutrition, but I knew ONE DAY I would be able to help people reach that extra 20% of the health and fitness equation--EXERCISE.
Now, thanks to the ease of working with clients remotely, I have decided to offer individualized training programs to my 80% customers and beyond!
There will be 3) 4-week programs to choose from right away:
At-home training program with minimal equipment (Great for anyone who wants to get their feet wet, change body composition, and build strength)
Gym training program for beginners to advanced fitness levels (customized by me, specific to your goal and experience)
Hourglass Program-- a workout split designed specifically for glute activation and growth
How to start:
Add the program you would like to start with to your cart and check out. Within 72 hours, you will receive an email from me with a questionnaire, which will help me determine your dietary and fitness needs.We will also have a 1-on-1 call to answer any questions you may have.
We would love "before" pictures, if you choose to provide them, and will use them to guide us on our journey together! (Bi-weekly check-ins will help us assess how we're doing thus far, and ensure we are on our way to your best physique yet!)
Within 6 days, I will have your first week's customized plan ready to roll, which will include training splits, as well as a meal plan. These can go hand-in-hand with your meals from 80% as well!
